Maybe the most familial team in the ProTour. Gerolsteiner is fast becoming one of the leading teams. And they have done so without losing that informal touch. Patience and friendliness are combined with an excellent policy in signing new riders.

Back in 1999 they started as a modest cycling team. In 2003 they participated for the first time in the Tour de France. By now they have gathered 12 ProTour victories and they have become one of the biggest and most successful teams. This means that the pressure to perform is rising. They can no longer operate in the shadow of the mighty T-Mobiles.

For the classics they have riders like Haussler, Kopp, Krauss, Schumacher, Moletta, Wegmann en Rebellin. The fact that they all have a good sprint is in their benefit.
Leipheimer went to Discovery Channel and Georg Totschnig stopped, so in the big multi-day races the pressure now on Markus Fothen. Together with Bernhard Kohl who joined from T-Mobile he will aim for the white jersey in the Tour de France. They will be helped by men like Hiekmann, Ordowski, Scholz, and the brothers Zberg and Lang. Lang can also perform very well in time trials.

Sprinters are Forster, Wrolich and Thomas Fothen but they cannot be considered as helpers.
Climber Zaugg came over from Saunier Duval. Holczer has a lot of talent in the team with Westphal for the classics, Fröhlinger for the multi day races and climber Klinger, time trial specialist Stamsnijder, sprinter Gatto and Moletta. The last two came to Germany through mediation by Rebellin. They all have a great future and with the help of the team they must be able to get success.

Holczer made minimal changes and found a perfect mix again. Big talent coached with patience and experience. The competition has to be aware of this Gerolsteiner team.
They are coming and they are with many.
